The Dark Roses

TDR was founded by some graffiti artists and members of The New Nation back in 1984.
In the early years a dedicated graffiti crew, but today more likely collaborative entrepreneurs of art: Contemporary artists and collectors, graphic and architectural designers, photographers, dj's, music and filmmakers.
It all began with few working principles in mind: To questioning, to avoid and to ignore the common mainstream.

By being a member of TDR means:
To share the history of Hip Hop and to share the outlaw spirit by using one or several of the outlaw instruments as an expression of questioning the common policy of today.

If TDR got any philosophy, then it's beyond nationality, socio economics, ethnicities, religions, colors, genders, eras, lies - also in politics, greed, ignorance, violence and peoples doings made by themselves or by order from another without responsibility.

If you got any questions, a good idea, paint or ink to be tested, textile, a wall, or a festival etc. DO NOT HESITATE.
